In this video, we put the Maztech LRF and FCS—Laser Rangefinder and Fire Control System—through a full evaluation, pushing the system out to 800 yards with the HK417. We break down how the Maztech system integrates ranging, ballistic computation, and environmental data to help produce rapid firing solutions, then put those capabilities to work across varying distances and conditions. Rather than testing it in a controlled environment, we’re looking at how the system actually performs in the field, where changing range, atmosphere, terrain, and shooting positions can make getting a fast, reliable solution considerably more challenging. We also explore where the Maztech FCS and LRF fit for both military and civilian shooters. For military applications, integrated fire-control technology can reduce shooter workload and shorten the process between identifying a target, determining range, calculating a solution, and making an accurate shot. On the civilian side, the same capabilities have applications in long-range shooting, competition, hunting, and training.
