Ringing Plain Hunt on seven with the tenor behind Tuesday bell practice night at Randwick church. This is me ringing for/at practice tonight, it was a very interesting experience learning to circle ring bells after years of chime ringing bells, I much prefer chime ringing but circle ringing was interesting, I met some very nice people, and also met some rather abrupt and defensive people. You do meet all sorts in various aspects of life. This clip is here to share but also as part of my memories in this aspect of my life. I am not seeking any constructive criticism or help with regard to this being posted here. Comments are monitored and will not be displayed if I deem then to be unfair or overly critical. Tenor: 14-1-25 - the 8 Taylor's bells were made at the Taylor Foundry at Loughborough, UK and installed in the tower in the year 2000, the previous 8 metal Vickers bells were removed, the two largest still remain on site in the grounds, the lighter 6 are now in an outdoor tower in Goulburn, NSW, Australia. Original bells - NAYLOR VICKERS & CO 1860 SHEFFIELD - the 8 bells made from 1860 - 1864. Filmed 14.1.14 at Randwick - Tuesday practice night!
