“We Thought We Were Farming Right… We Were Wrong”
Four years ago, we started farming together… doing things the way they had always been done. Tillage. Inputs. Plant and harvest. But something didn’t sit right. In this first episode, I sit down with my farming partner Andy Bullock to talk about how we got started, what we were doing before, and what led us to begin looking at regenerative agriculture. A major turning point for us was attending a Soil Health Academy course, where we were introduced to a completely different way of thinking about soil—not as dirt, but as a living system. This video lays the foundation for the entire series. Over the next few episodes, we’ll be comparing: • Conventional tillage • No-till systems • Multi-species cover crops …and sharing what we’ve learned after four years of working this land together. If you’ve ever wondered whether regenerative agriculture really works… we’re going to show you what we’re seeing right here on our farm. 👉 NEXT EPISODE: We head into the field and begin comparing the differences between these systems. ⭐ This land is our legacy ⭐ Visit the website: https://causeyscare.com Subscribe: / @causeyscare Support the Channel If you enjoy these projects and want to support the work here on the farm, you can buy me a cup of coffee: https://buymeacoffee.com/causeyscare #regenerativeagriculture #soilhealth #farming #covercrops #notill #causeyscare
