How African Families Plant Food for the Whole Year on 30 Acres of land/African Traditional Life

In today’s video, we are planting maize and beans on a large scale to help provide food for the whole year. On our smaller farm plot, we are also growing a variety of vegetables and fruits. We are a farming family from the Kalenjin community in Kenya. Our livelihood comes from mixed farming, including crop farming, livestock keeping, and beekeeping. We are entrepreneurs who sell farm produce, cattle, chickens, eggs, and honey from our farm. After planting a few acres, we took a break and prepared some delicious homemade lemon jam, fresh bread, and plantains. It was a hot and sunny day, so we enjoyed some Coca Cola to help quench our thirst after all the hard work in the fields.
