Artificial Intelligence technologies are transforming the world around us and generating important societal benefits. However, the rapid rollout and adoption of AI has also raised concerns regarding the potential risk of harms. In response, organizations are developing and implementing operational controls and governance frameworks to ensure the responsible and accountable development and deployment of AI. To capture these efforts, CIPL collected best practices and case studies and documented them in our new report entitled, “Best Practices in Accountable Governance of Artificial Intelligence (AI): Mapping Organizations’ Practices to the CIPL Accountability Framework”. This webinar presented key findings from our report, and hosted a panel discussion with organizations leading in responsible and accountable AI development and deployment.
