A tragic incident has been reported from Jagulaipada in Kanas, Odisha, where a young fisherman went missing after falling from a boat into the Daya River while fishing with his father. According to reports, Prakash Behera and his son Dibana Behera, both fishermen, had gone to the Daya River to catch fish before heading towards Chilika Lake. During fishing, Dibana accidentally fell from the boat into the swollen river and disappeared in the strong current. Teams from the Fire Services Department, along with local residents, launched an extensive search operation, but the missing youth had not been traced at the time of reporting.
