Judge Sends Mounk Tounk To Prison For 5 years Over YSL Trial Testimony

Antonio "Mounk Tounk" Sledge is going to prison for five years, and it's because of his testimony in the Young Thug / YSL gang racketeering (RICO) conspiracy trial. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Paige Reese Whitaker revoked five years of his 30-year probation sentence during a hearing in Atlanta today (Friday, October 18). That means Mounk Tounk is going to Georgia state prison for five years, and he'll serve the balance of his probation when he gets out, which would be 25 years minus however much he's served now, which is almost two years. Whitaker sentenced Mounk Tounk after hearing argument from Chief Deputy District Attorney Adam Abbate and Mounk Tounk's lawyer, Derek Wright. Mounk Tounk's violations involved not testifying that Young Slime Life is a gang, and other related statements he agreed to in his plea deal in the RICO case back in December 2022.
