French Armed Forces 24hr Combat Mre Ration Pack | RCIR Menu 7 Review
France uses a ration called the “Ration de Combat Individuelle Rechauffable” (Combat Ration Individual Reheatable), or RCIR. A single ration contains 3200 calories and is intended to provide the nutritional needs for one soldier for one day. RCIRs are delivered in boxes of 12 rations. A single pallete of RCIRS will contain 20 boxes or 240 RCIRs. The RCIR is especially favored for its high-quality entrees, prepared with authentic ingredients like veal, shrimp, duck, and various French charcuterie. Each pack includes two ready-cooked dishes that cover lunch and dinner, along with a filling breakfast muesli, ensuring a balanced day’s worth of meals. It also includes indulgent items like French cheese spreads, fruit jellies, nougat bars, and chocolate bars—providing energy and a touch of sweetness to complete your meal. Each RCIR ration is a fusion of quality ingredients and traditional French recipes, designed to provide both sustenance and a satisfying, indulgent meal experience. The RCIR stands out among other MREs (Meals Ready-to-Eat) with its luxurious entrees and thoughtfully curated snacks and beverages. Imagine dining on dishes like duck parmentier, shrimp and chicken pasta, and pistachio-stuffed sausages while outdoors — all prepared with a touch of French finesse that makes this ration pack truly unique.
