I went to the Ayusawa River in Shizuoka Prefecture for the last two days of the Amago Fishing Festa. I've already caught one over 25cm this year, so my target was a 30cm Amago. If there were big Amago rising, I would have naturally hunted them, but on the penultimate day there were no rises, so I targeted them with Euro Nymphing. And on the final day, I targeted visible good-sized fish with dry flies.
