MODERN CHIPTUNE or: Making Things Harder for No Good Reason
In this video, I argue for the use of, and explain the implementation of, audio synthesis and music sequencing engines in video games. Topics include appealing to modern gamers' desire for lower game filesizes, how to program audio synthesis, and how my custom music format works. Featuring an as-of-yet untitled song by @rrthiel.
