Así es el NUEVO TREN CHINO de Valparaíso (Limache - Puerto)

Hey Citizens, I rode on the first official trip of one of the new trains on the Limache-Puerto service. I'll show you details of its driver's cab and the equipment in its cars. Also, if you want to know what's happening with the four railcars that are still to be added to the fleet, don't miss the next Citizen's Report. Unlike the Xtrápolis railcars, the new Limache-Puerto service trains consist of three cars, with a driver's cab at each end, which is why they're called 3C trains. The connection between each car is a caterpillar-type track, allowing passengers to walk the entire length of the train without having to open the doors. As of the date of this report, April 2026, only SFE 412 is operational for passenger transport. The remaining four trains will enter service no later than next September, after completing dynamic and safety system tests. Hello everyone, welcome to this new report. Behind me is the Puerto station, the starting or ending point, depending on the case, of the Limache-Puerto rail service. In this video, I'll be heading to this station to participate in the official ceremony for the commissioning of the new Chinese-made SFE 400 trains, which are joining the rolling stock connecting the cities of Limache and Valparaíso. We're entering the Puerto station building. While the current building dates back to 1937, the origins of this railway stop go back to 1876, and it was originally part of the Valparaíso-Santiago railway line. During 2026, a total of five of these trains, manufactured in China by CRRC-Sifang, will be added to the Limache-Puerto service. Note that these trains can reach a top speed of 140 km/h, consist of three cars, are 77 meters long, and have a capacity for 660 passengers.
