Key features and significance: Location and Accessibility: The temple is perched on the Chennimalai hills, offering a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. Devotees can reach the temple either by climbing approximately 1,320 steps or by taking a motorable road. The hill is also known for its diverse flora and fauna, including rare medicinal herbs. Deity and Legends: The presiding deity is Lord Murugan in the form of Dhandayuthapani. A unique legend states that the idol is "unfinished" below the hip, as a divine miracle occurred when an artisan attempted to chisel it, causing blood to gush out.
