The Wekiva River you've probably never heard of.

Wekiva River in Levy County is a much smaller one than the well known Wekiva in St John's, but it is just as beautiful and interesting, peaceful and serene! Most people know of the Wekiva, but they haven’t seen this lesser known magical wilderness. We took the canoe into the rustic, jungle-like stretches of the river to find untouched Florida wilderness. From historic riverfront properties and mysterious boathouses to navigating over (and under) massive fallen timber, this was one for the books. If you love Florida's hidden backcountry and light tackle bass fishing, you don't want to miss this one.
