To Halifax by Train, Part 1: Sweet Dreams on The Canadian to Toronto

The Via Rail Canadian between Vancouver and Toronto is considered a bucket list train journey with a world-wide reputation. Often overlooked are trains that continue the journey eastwards to Halifax, Nova Scotia. That includes us. This trip remedies that situation. In this first part of our journey, we will depart from our home in Winnipeg and take the Canadian east to Toronto. We'll be in the Sleeper Plus class but using the budget-friendly berths. In future videos, we will continue on to Montreal, Quebec, take a round trip from there to Quebec City and finish off with another overnight, sleeper class train trip to Halifax.
