Sunday, August 24th I climbed Mount Kenashi, which straddles Shizuoka and Yamanashi prefectures. The steep ascents and descents were a challenge for a complete beginner like me, but I managed to reach the summit. Clouds obscured the majestic views of Mt. Fuji and the Asagiri Plateau, but it was a great day, filled with a sense of accomplishment and sore muscles.
