Artwork by Take Me Back Pirate Radio Archives. DJ Greg Stainer is an established House producer. He started his career on London Underground FM, releasing his first E.P. on the V.I.P. (Very Important Plastic) label, "Twilight Zone E.P." and "Original Flava E.P.". He left L.U.G. FM in 2000, when UK Garage and House music was changing direction. He was one arm of 'The Digital Groovers', with DJ Alan D, releasing several tracks on the Pirate Life label between 1999-2000. Greg Stainer decided to take the House music path, it was clear his influences were 4/4 and not the 2 step sound. He is one of few UK DJs that has focused purely on working internationally and is not based in the UK. He is currently based in the UAE. Check our London Underground FM playlist:    • DJ Spoony (Dreem Teem) | Old School Garage...   During this set Greg Stainer talks about a famous UK Garage event called "4Play" @Legends Nightclub, in Barking. The night was run by former profession boxer, Colin McMillan (former WBO Featherweight Champion), that London Underground were co-hosting the event with a star studded lineup of DJs Ramsey & Fen, DJ Jason H, DJ Shax, DJ Greg Stainer, DJ Rossi B, DJ Pyro, and others, with resident MC Creed joined by Mr Buzzhard. London Underground FM was also hosting the third room of Smoove @Ministry Of Sound. The station also began promoting Back To 95 @The Aquarium Nightclub, in Old Street. Back To 95 has been consistently running events for some 20 years which is some accomplishment.
