Myfanwy is one of Wales’ most cherished traditional songs, telling the poignant story of unrequited love and longing. This performance is sung by the Trelawnyd Choir. Trelawnyd is a sleepy little farming village in Flintshire, North East Wales. The choir was formed in 1933 by the then village schoolmaster, William Humphreys, and has remained in continuous existence ever since.
