HUGE TRAIN SHOW! The Ogden Utah Train Show 2023

After two years on hold, the huge Hostlers Ogden Utah Train Show is back! This huge show fills several large halls in the historic Ogden Union Depot. Ogden was the original division point between the Central Pacific and the Union Pacific starting in May 1869. After the Driving of the Golden Spike in May 1869 at Promontory Utah, the division point was moved 75 miles south to Ogden because Promontory was in the absolute middle of nowhere. Soon thereafter the Central Pacific became the Southern Pacific. The current depot is the second Ogden Union Station as the original wood structure burned. The Hostlers put on two amazing train shows each year, the Ogden show and the Evanston Wyoming show that is held in the Evanston Union Pacific shops and roundhouse about 60 miles northeast of Ogden. #trainshow #modelrailroad #hoscale
