The world's most powerful nation, needless to say, is the United States. Large as it is, at 100 times the size of South Korea, the United States is a place where a tremendous diversity of cultures and natural landscapes coexist. My husband and I traveled the United States for three weeks: New York in the east, Miami in the south, and Las Vegas and California in the west. Because the United States is so vast, three weeks wasn't enough. After New York and Miami, we briefly crossed over to the Bahamas, and then Las Vegas, we headed to the final destination of our US trip: Los Angeles, California. Our trip to California, which began with a spontaneous decision to rent a campervan, was truly amazing. The scale of the US national parks, in particular, was absolutely beyond imagination. Each national park features a diverse range of landscapes, including deserts, glaciers, rainforests, and canyons. Many Americans even take on the challenge of visiting all 63 national parks in their lifetime.
