The price included shipping but NOT tax. Also, I've changed the glove to a cotton spa glove as it's gentler on the screen. Also, lots of people have been asking if it has to be hooked up to a computer and yes, it does. It's not a standalone tablet (although I think Wacom is coming out with one, so check that out). And it doesn't come with any painting software, just the setup disk. So you use it with whatever paint program you already have.
