Railfanning on the Union Pacific Lafayette Sub on 12/21/13 between UP Englewood Yard and Crosby, TX. Train 1: UP 8556 manifest slowly approaches Englewood Yard from the east end as it crosses Fields St crossing. This train came with an ACe leader equipped with a badass K5LLA. Plus, this is my second time seeing UP 8556 leading a train. UP SD70ACe #8556 UP SD70M #4381 Train 2: UP 9759 manifest heads west. This train had an awesome lashup consisting of a swoosh Dash 9, old school EMD powers, etc. BNSF (H3) Dash 9-44CW #4938 (Bad horn) BNSF (ex-BN/C&S) SD40-2 #1959 BNSF GP38-2 #2332 BNSF Dash 9-44CW #4134 Train 4: A UP manifest lead by a single Dash 9 travels west along the Lafayette Sub. UP C44-9W #9760 Train 5: UP 9617 slowly leads a long manifest as it prepares to stop at the siding nearby. This train also came with the NS unit as the 3rd engine in the lashup.
