What can I do with that old Microwave Oven Fan Motor #2

What can I do with that old Microwave Oven Fan Motor #2. I have had so many comments on my old "What can I do with that old Microwave Oven Fan Motor" video (where I make a version of a Joule Thief using the coil from the motor) that when I was tidying up my junk pile and found another fan motor I felt I had better do something else with it. So I show here that you could use it for a Desk Fan running directly off the household 240 volt AC supply. To do this properly you would need to box it in to make the mains power safe from inquisitive fingers. *************************** In response to a question I am adding this information If you flip the stator, so it sticks out the opposite side, the motor will spin in the opposite direction. This is an AC motor, AC = alternating current. So connecting the power wires either way will make it run. The one in this video is running on 240 volts in the UK. USB is DC (Direct current NOT AC) it is also just 5 volts, so you cannot run this fan from a USB port. Please be careful, if your knowledge of electricity is so limited, there is a good chance you are going to electrocute yourself. In the UK that means you will probably kill yourself. The proper name for this motor is a 'shaded-pole motor' and here is a Wikipedia article explaining it's features https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaded-... **************************** Note: using my older camera again so it struggles in the lower light conditions here.
