DELSU Charges Non-Teaching Staff On Professionalism & Ethics | Abraka Workshop 2026*

Delta State University, Abraka has urged its non-teaching staff to uphold professionalism, ethical conduct and accountability. The charge was made on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, during a one-day workshop for staff on CONUASS 7 to 12 themed "The Intrigues of University Administration." Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Edmund Atakpor, speaking for VC Prof. Samuel Asagba, said non-teaching staff are indispensable to DELSU’s growth. Registrar, Mrs. Rufina U. Ufiofio called on staff to treat students with courtesy and maintain integrity. Keynote Speaker, Mr. Daniel Urhibo of Edwin Clark University, stressed transparency, fairness and verifying information before sharing. Other facilitators: Pastor Edafe Ekoko, Prof. Hilary Owamah, and Mrs. O. Ekakite-Omajuwa took sessions on ethics, productivity, and bursary operations.
