With “Seconds Left” Watch These Cards Sell at Auction / 1933 Ice Kings Gets Last Minute Bids + More!

Recently, we had a number of fantastic vintage hockey cards and related ephemera closing at auction on eBay on the same night. I wanted to try and capture the frenetic activity that can often occur as the seconds tick down on the clock on each lot. I had my camera at the ready, and filmed the final 30-40 seconds of some selected lots. It doesn't always happen, but when a bidding war occurs, it's very exciting! Case in point, watch as a 1933-34 Ice Kings Joe Primeau PSA 6 goes gets sniper bids with 3 seconds remaining. Another pre-war hockey card (1933 O-Pee-Chee Ebbie Goodfellow PSA 6) was at $455.01 and rose to much higher just as the auction closed! Stay tuned near the end when a 1965-66 Topps Yvan Cournoyer RC goes from hundreds to over 4 figures. In between, you’ll see the closing seconds of many other vintage cards and a nice array unopened boxes from 1976 to 1980.
