The life of Christ was never designed to be something we put on when it is convenient and take off when it is not. We were called to be light, and light does not struggle to distinguish itself from darkness. Its very nature is to shine. Also, the love commandment is not optional! Faith is not optional! These are the expressions of the life we have received in Christ. Take a moment to honestly examine your walk. Is your faith active only when circumstances are favourable, or have you learned to trust God regardless of what is happening around you? The world has enough darkness already.
