The East Jakarta District Court (PN) held a hearing for Dr. Tifa today, Thursday, July 9, with the defendant's legal team presenting a challenge or objection. The panel of judges had previously postponed Dr. Tifa's trial in the Jokowi diploma case. The postponement followed the initial hearing, which included the reading of the indictment, on Thursday, July 2. "The case of defamation of Jokowi's diploma, involving the defendant, Dr. Tifa, is being heard with the agenda of resistance," the East Jakarta District Court stated. The trial, which will begin at 9:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB), will be presided over by Judge Christina Endarwati, with judges Rudi Rafli Siregar and Mathilda Chrystina Katarina as its associate judges. Previously, in the prosecutor's draft indictment, Dr. Tifa was charged for a social media post deemed insulting to the former head of state.
