Eduardo Coutinho - el documental y la palabra
Eduardo Coutinho (São Paulo, 1933) is an essential figure in Latin American documentary filmmaking. His work is characterized by a political, but not propagandistic, slant when addressing the daily lives and subjectivities of marginalized majorities with a sensitivity distinct from melodrama. This interview was conducted in connection with the film and video series "Eduardo Coutinho: A Retrospective," held at the Reina Sofía Museum between February and April 2013.
