The inspection revealed that the piston rings were not functioning properly, and this wear was the main cause of the oil burning. A piston ring replacement was decided upon. When the source of the overheating problem was investigated, it was determined that the water hoses in the cooling system had hardened and corroded over time, preventing proper circulation. This situation led to the engine constantly overheating and, indirectly, cylinder head damage. All corroded and worn hoses were replaced, and the cooling system was overhauled. Due to the effects of overheating, the cylinder head underwent a revision, including grinding and a detailed inspection of the valve system, with necessary replacements carried out.
