Our reporting team visited the village of Tsetserleg in Mongolia. Livestock, including goats, sheep, and horses, outnumber the population by dozens of times and play a central role in village life. To feed their livestock, the people who live there migrate with the seasons in search of the grass they need. Grazing is a daily activity. Moving the livestock is the job of children. Helping with the grazing today is 7-year-old Byambasuren. Sometimes she even helps with births. But livestock are not pets. They are kept as food for people to survive. One day, a sheep was to be slaughtered. Butchering isn't just the adults' job; children help too. They owe their survival to livestock. Nomadic children grow up with the direct connection between life and life in their hearts. This episode is narrated by TBS announcers Ayumu Akaogi and Ayu Yamauchi.
