Irrigation- Difference between Weir and Barrage (In Hindi)

In this video i have explained difference between Weir and Barrage in a very simple way. A Weir or low head dam is a barrier across the width of a river that alters the flow characteristics of water and usually results in a change in the height of the river level. A Barrage is a type of low-head, diversion dam which consists of a number of large gates that can be opened or closed to control the amount of water passing through.
