iDocu was a witness to the initiatives and efforts of the people of Brgy. Manurigao, New Bataan, Davao de Oro in making a motor trail covered with rough, thick woods so motorcycles can pass through with less difficulty. Such effort made the Provincial Government of Davao de Oro acted in opening a wider road for them, so access to the market, hospital and the town hall would be easier for them. The national government allocated funds for a road opening project in 2016 through the whole of province approach headed by its dynamic and young governor Jayvee Tyron Uy. But the budget for such road is only limited to Tubod, hence, the young governor has once again proposed to the national government for another road opening project that will reach to the center of Brgy. Manurigao. However, heaven must be very merciful to them because the road they long desired will accordingly reach up to Baganga in Davao Oriental. True enough, when iDocu went back to Manurigao, Tablas were no more for graveling was already in place.
