Pretty is a problem when they want to humble you

Being a pretty woman does have its privileges. But women who are attractive also deal with jealousy from other women because of their looks and antagonistic behavior from men who can’t access them. The microaggressions and envy that pretty women encounter can play a toll on their behavior–whether it’s becoming the quiet one in the room and trying to be more agreeable, or it’s downplaying one’s beauty and not putting as much effort into one’s appearance.
