NAVIDAD y FIN de AÑO 🎄 REFLEXIÓN para CERRAR el AÑO y las EMOCIONES que se VIVEN | Jorge Cantero
December arrives with lights, gatherings, and promises of closure, but also with silences that weigh heavier than the rest of the year 🎄. Christmas and New Year's aren't always experienced with joy; often, melancholy, nostalgia, and the presence of those who are no longer with us emerge. In this reflection, I talk about how difficult it can be to close a chapter when there are losses, absences, or wounds that don't fit the narrative of "being okay." We've been taught that these holidays should be celebrated with enthusiasm, as if being grateful for the good things forces us to silence what hurts. But life doesn't work that way. It's possible to feel gratitude and sadness at the same time, to celebrate and miss, to laugh and carry a knot in your chest. Accepting that contradiction is also emotional maturity 🌒. This episode doesn't seek to impose a "correct" emotion, but rather to open an honest space to experience December as it is. Closing the year doesn't always mean celebrating; sometimes it means acknowledging what's gone, what's changed, and what still hurts, without guilt or haste. Because it's also okay to reach the end of the year tired, sensitive, or different than you imagined. Christmas and New Year's can be a pause to look at ourselves with more compassion, to understand that not everything is solved with toasts, and that simply being here, despite everything, is enough ✨.
