We visit four of the best retro game shops in the area, each with their own unique selection of games and gaming paraphernalia. This store specializes in retro games and accessories, and I was blown away by their incredible selection. From classic NES games to rare Sega Saturn titles, Game On had it all. Next, we head to CEX, a store that is infamous for retro game collecting here in the UK. The Croydon CEX did not disappoint and had the largest amount of carts for the Nintendo and Sega systems I have seen in a CEX store before from Super Nintendo and NES through to Megadrive the retro games in this CEX were impressive. Our third stop is at Cash Convertors which is hit and miss and on this occasion, not the best result but a few Nintendo Switch games were available along with modern PS5 consoles and games. Last but not least, we visit Playnantion Games Croydon, a retro gaming store that has a huge selection of games and consoles from all eras. Their collection of rare games and consoles is unparalleled, and I was lucky enough to find some hidden gems that I had not seen in the wild for years.
