Usually, Yol the eagle owl doesn't miss the downpours, spending them on a swing, rinsing herself off under the rain shower. But these days, the owl sits quietly on her bottom on a tree stump, listening to the raindrops patter on the roof of her enclosure. Even she's tired of getting wet and drying off several times a day. I'm happy with everything, but I'm worried about the citrus trees outside. They don't like this kind of humidity. Ideally, I'd keep them in a greenhouse, but I don't have one. A cheap one looks really annoying; there's nowhere to hide it. And a nice one made of decent metal and glass is very expensive. So, I'm waiting for the citrus trees to croak.
