We ate at the fish market in Matosinhos | Portugal While strolling through Matosinhos, we visited the Matosinhos Municipal Market. There are several stalls selling vegetables, a wide variety of fish, live animals, plants, olives, etc. We saw that at the market it's possible to choose the fish and take it to the restaurant to grill, so we went there to check it out! We chose sea bass, which was cleaned by the friendly Dona Bina, who has been working at the market for 60 years! We took the fish to grill at the Mercado – Food & Drinks Restaurant, located inside the Matosinhos Municipal Market. We loved the experience; it has a different flavor to choose our fresh fish and take it to grill! See you in the next video! Nuno, the son of a Portuguese man, went to visit his father's homeland in 2000, living overseas for two years while doing a master's degree in political science. Erica – the daughter of Japanese parents – followed the path of many Brazilian dekasegi (Japanese-Brazilian migrant workers), and went to work in the land of the rising sun in 2003, where she lived for 5 years. Now we are living in Portugal. We also like to tell stories, whether our own or those of the places we have been. Here you will see our travels through this country that has welcomed us so well.
