Intro to Tarot I

In this video, I introduce the unique & transformative process we'll use to learn the Tarot over the next few weeks. I talk briefly about the Tarot itself and different ways to use it. Although we know that "the answers to our questions lie within" we often need a bit of help accessing those answers. And in times of confusion and difficulty, methods of Divination give a path whereby to approach "the Divine" in ways that can help us navigate our lives. The Tarot is one such path, a Western one, so well-suited for us in its iconography and approach. This is an introduction -very briefly -- to divination and to the Tarot, and to a couple of ways of working with and learning the Tarot. In the next 3 weeks, we'll be embarking on one very powerful and transformative method of learning and working with the Tarot -- exploring the 22 beginning cards of the deck, the Major Arcana, as the "Hero's Journey" (or the Fool's Journey"!).
