Growing CA Natives in Containers with Bonnie Marks & Mamie Yee

The Larkspur Library hosted Marin Master Gardeners Bonnie Marks and Mamie Yee who taught about the best California native plants to grow in pots. Learn how to create a small habitat of California native plants, even if you have limited garden space. By planting native plants in containers, you can enjoy the presence of birds, butterflies, and other native pollinators while adding beauty and interest to your patio, deck, or entryway. The presentation will introduce you to some of the reasons to grow natives, share examples of local natives that lend themselves well to container planting, and provide information about types of containers, potting mixes, and care and watering.
