The craft beer market is currently very tight and undergoing a major transformation. After an unprecedented wave of new breweries, with nearly one new brewery opening every day around 2020, we are now experiencing the opposite trend. Approximately one in five small breweries in France is now facing serious difficulties and risks closing. We wanted to explore this reality and how brewers in the Auvergne region are coping.
