At the 2024 World Youth Championships in Helsingborg (Sweden), Annett Kaufmann met Yeh Yi-Tian from Taiwan in Round of 16 (R16) of the Under 19 girls’ singles event. Just a few days earlier, they had faced off in the team event and Yi-Tian won.
