My Divorce Story

Hi everyone, Thank you for being patient with me the last few months while I navigated how I wanted to share my story. As you can imagine, sitting down and sharing this was one of the most distressing things I've had to do. This has been very uncomfortable and my vulnerability is on full display and open for criticism in this video. I want to make it VERY clear that I was NO victim in this. I played a HUGE role in the downfall of our relationship and marriage. I hope in sharing this video it does 1 of 2 things. 1, I hope it encourages young women/men/etc. to speak their truth regardless of the backlash they may face. It took me 10 years to speak out about my rapist, and slowly I am becoming more comfortable with sharing uncomfortable moments, because I know someone out there is listening. 2, selfishly, I hope it provides me closure. I want to "move on" just as much as the next person. I have been plagued by this for months now. I'm ready to move on and accept the past but I must share my truth first. My silence was serving no one but her. And for now I will only be serving what's best for myself and more importantly, Emily. Thank you all for giving me a platform to share my story.
