The first project I made for Resonance Overdrive is a song, like the others I contributed, I had on my mind to do for a while. I thought about it right after completing Gateway, but opted at the time to lean off X8 for a bit. So now it roars back! The concept was to do something similar to my Judgment MMX remix from 2024 but taken to the extreme; having SNES instruments play parts parallel to my usual rock VSTs I make my non-soundfont mixes with. All instruments in this have a SNES base, with the drums being SNES only. So technically it's a MMX Soundfont remix, sort of?? Regardless (or because of it), alongside the melodic and tempo changes, it's a Maverick Mix through and through.
