Ayamonte is a coastal town in the region of Andalusia, Spain. The city has a population of 20,000 and is part of the municipality of Huelva close to the Portuguese border. It is located at the river Guadiana and the Salt Marshes (Marismas) which is a national park. Besides the Marismas del Guadiana some other highlights of the city are the marina, the bullring and the church of Nuestra Señora de las Angustias.
