How do you get shallow depth of field in broad daylight without overexposing your image? Using high speed-sync gives you the power as a photographer to create that shallow depth of field look while still maintaining an evenly exposed image. I took my lovely model Haley out to Tempe Town Lake, just north of the Arizona State University campus to use my high speed-sync in the field.
