EcoFlow Stream Smart Meter Setup And Wiring installation

Wiring example of EcoFlow smart meter for the Stream DIY plug-in solar system. This shows an example of how my Ecoflow smart meter is wired in my meter box and where the CT clamp is fitted. The smart meter provides live statistics on the flow of electricity coming in from the national grid and what is also generated from solar and sent back to the national grid, unless the feed-in control is turned on in the app. In that case, nothing is sent back to the grid except a small amount (about 3W) that powers the meter. This video is by no means a guide to follow, as it's an example, and every electric meter box and wiring setup will be different. Therefore, do your own research, and if in doubt, get advice from an electrician. Likewise, any electrical work carried out in your home should be performed by a qualified and certified electrician. According to the instructions, the Ecoflow smart meter is powered by a maximum of 3W AC, a very small amount of power, and probably around 0.50mA in idle mode, very similar to the smart meters that the energy supply companies give you that are plugged into the mains. AC-to-AC adapter plugs are available but they can be expensive, costing three times more than an AC-to-DC adapter, which is probably why it doesn't come with one soa piece of flex and a plug will do same job with a 3 amp fuse.
