What are Practice Directions?
As a litigant, not only do you have to know the rules of procedure, and case law, you also must know what are called "Practice Directions". These documents cover details such as how to name your documents, length of motions, format of court documents, what forms are needed for specific steps, uploading to Case Center and, oh, so much more!!! On top of that, each region in Ontario has its own set of practice directions! Osgoode Hall Law School Candidate Morgan Deiseroth introduces us to what Practice Directions are, how to find them, and takes a brief look at the Consolidated and Regional Practice Directions. Warning: The videos on Litigation Help are intended to provide general legal information only. They are not substitutes for legal advice from a legal professional.
