They Thought The Air Underground Was Safe

In August of 2005, five young friends set out for a midnight adventure on Y Mountain in Provo, Utah. Their destination was a hidden, unmapped fissure known locally as Gollum’s Cave or as the students jokingly called it, “The Cave of Death.” Driven by a hunger for adrenaline, they attempted a daring swim through a tight, pitch-black underwater tunnel to reach a secret inner chamber. Unfortunately, that bold risk turned out to be a deadly choice, sealing the fate of four of them in a heartbreaking battle against the elements. ⚖️ DISCLAIMER: All materials in these videos are used for education and entertainment purposes and fall within the guidelines of fair use.
