Although it may go unnoticed, we are experiencing a crisis or change in love and romantic relationships. The rise of feminism, the absence of the pressure of religious moral codes, the disconnect from old customs, the new socio-labor landscape… All these factors create a new context in which sealing a love with the motto “Until death do us part” is no longer appropriate; instead, the promise to love each other “Until life do us part” is more fitting. In “Love in Crisis,” Chipi takes a guitar journey through songs that speak of love contextualized within this new era in which we live.
