Project Raptor in depth: Structure & Mechanics

Hi everyone! I build a dinosaur puppet/costume from PVC & foam and posted a video about it around a year ago. It’s been a while, but better late than never. So here’s a more in depth video of my raptor with a few upgrades. It’s not a tutorial or a step by step video on how to make one. For those of you planning on making a raptor or working on a similar project, you’re going to have to figure out some steps alone, but I hope this provides enough details about the structure and mechanics to help you out. A lot of stuff I did possibly isn’t the best solution, but it’s just a solution that worked for me. And I didn’t measure things on scientific accuracy, I mean I barely measured stuff at all. I just went with what felt right to me. (maybe that’s why it turned out to be a little bit of a crossbreed between a raptor and a t-rex) PS: The shots outside are filmed before the COVID outbreak. Don’t take unnessecary risks, stay at home if this is recommended by your government. Take care of yourself and each other, even if it’s from a distance.
