Turning a scrap chunk of wood into CASH 💸

Today we are going to turn a scrap half log into an adorable little fox! I have always loved foxes and was hoping an order would eventually come in for one, but never did! So I figured this was a great opportunity to give one a shot. This was a free hand carving with no references, I just carved away what felt and looked right haha! I had all these plans to carve a bunch of fun stuff together this winter and even have you guys vote on some of the carving subjects, but unfortunately the weather this winter prevented that. I'm quite bummed, even though some forced rest was probably not the worst thing for me lol! Everything you saw in the drying tent is all I have been able to carve up until now, I hope to get a few more projects in before commissions start up this spring. I'm currently working on a larger/complex project that I'm eager to share with you all once finished in a week or so! Hope you enjoyed this little fox carving, I really look forward to carving more!
